Vivosa is set in the Litorale di Ugento Natural Park, immersed in the green of a marvelous pine wood, just a few steps away from the turquoise waters of its crystal-clear sea. The Park protects an extremely valuable coastal area, made up of dunes, a series of tidal basins with connecting channels, imposing fossil cliffs with breathtaking ravines, and the largest area of Mediterranean scrub in Salento. It stretches roughly three kilometers inland from the coast for an overall length of eight kilometers. This protected tract of coastline is one of the most interesting and precious areas of the Italian peninsula owing to its landscape as well as its naturalistic and historical value.
